Sponsoring parents tourist visa

Post by rahuls1215 » Mon Apr 07, 2014 10:48 am

Hi guys,

I intend to sponsor my parents tourist visa in coming months, however I have a question with regards to showing strong ties. As they will be travelling from India to UK therefore I wanted to know what kind of documents will be required for the application purposes to show that will go back before their visa expires. Also they do not have any assests in India, but I have a property in my name in India. So would it be good enough? If not, then whats the alternative?

Please reply with your advises and past experiences.

Thanks,

Rahul

Is any of your parent employed back in India?

hmmm... one of the main criteria to grant visitor visa is strong social & economic ties to home country... the other things that i can think of is (i) your sibling(s) residing in India (ii) pension income (iii) Fixed Deposit etc... But I am not sure how much of this would be sufficient to prove that they would return back to India...

Hi,
I am residing in UK with my husband on tier2 visa and staying in single bedroom rented house.
I want to invite my parents and my younger sister on visitor visa for one month.

Is it possible to invite them by accommodating in single bedroom house?

Thanks n regards,
Sheela A
