Can i show Fixed Deposit as evidence of maintenance funds ?

If the money is locked, no; if the money is readily accessible but in lieu of reduced interest rate, yes.

Appendix C

(j) Maintenance must be in the form of cash funds. Other accounts or financial instruments such as shares, bonds, pension funds etc, regardless of notice period are not acceptable.

Hello every one!!!

I need a suggestion about maintenance funds.

I am applying for student visa tier 4 (uk) but can I show my Dad's fixed deposit as my Maintenance funds and remaining fees along with bank letter confirming the Fixed deposit can be broken and can be easily en cashed for immediate use...

As per current rules!!!
