Business After Getting Visa

Post by googleit » Mon Jul 21, 2014 8:39 pm

Hi ,

I got visa from PSW 50k route , My question (which most of the lawyer or experts are not understanding) is that after getting entrepreneur visa , There is no restriction in level of business. Because if we go through the policy guidance it clearly says that the NVQ Level 4 requirement is for initial applications only (It says nowhere that's its for extension applicants or in condition of stay). All types of investments are accepted except investment in property or secured director's loan form .

Has anyone got Tier 1 entrepreneur on 50k route and is involved in any sales or retail business ? As most of people got this confusion that we have to stick to level 4 business throughout

Thanks ...

@ googleit, technically the businesses you can invest in are those at or above NQF level 4 for you to be able to qualify for extension. Its the condition of your visa and you don't need a lawyer to tell you what you have used to obtain your visa. The exemption from HO is that you can change to any businesses you want as long as they are still within the conditions of your visa.

Some have stated that you can do businesses below NQF level 4 but definitely you wont be able to use such businesses as evidence to get points for your extension. I will advice you to stick with the condition of your visa and not do any other business which could create problem during your extension.
The key to success is knowledge and hardwork, and to have faith.

Hi googleit,
You misunderstood the policy guidelines. Make it simple for you, For extension of Tier 1 Entrepreneur under £50 Your business should have to be up to level 4 or above, YES you can do any other business like retail shops etc But as a second business & can not be considered for claiming points of Tier 1 Entrepreneur extension.

So, for this visa through £200K route (inside / outside UK), is there no restriction on the NQF level for the visa holder?

Thanks.

Thanks

so the business have to be a service business. Now if you have a client and you are being paid invoices in your company's business account , how does that conflict with the new rules of UKBA about breaching the conditions of stay ?
