what shall I say to proof Genuine student if he ask me :
why you had chosen to study English as a mature student?
what benefit your chosen course would have?
Why you choose this program?
is there any program English in you country ?
1.There is no single proof of genuine students, the decision will be based on balance of probabilities depending on how you answers questions and what you have already provided to them. Your intention to study and follow your course and return after completion of your course will help the matter . And so they mights ask you of your plans after your course, you can also mention the facts that you have paid already your tuition fees and accommodation.

2. This question can be answered in many different ways. Eg opportunity arose, it is time when you achieved sound financial stability. Right time to move to another in your career etc.

3. Benefits: advancement in your career, broaden your horizon

4. Because it fit perfectly with what you want to study and achieve you will need to elaborate further about your goals.

I have just outlines fews possible answers, but be aware these are just examples to help you think for yourself about the best possible ways to answers these questions as they depends very much on your personal circumstances.

I think all your answers were extremely good. They were honest, direct to the point and brief. I don't see any negative at all.

 It's very tough nowadays as they trying to reduce net immigration numbers and the only place they cut that numbers is from non - EU immigrants especially students.

But looking at your answers, I think you have answered all of them extremely well. You were honest, brief and straight to the point. I can't see any negatives. Waiting game now for you, it should be too long, Goodluck.

Dear Seneca,
Good day to you, Regarding my AR, today I recieved refuse descion from UK Embassy as comment following:

ECO Comment: You were required to participate in an interview via video conference between the Visa Application Centre in Bahrain and the Visa Section at the British Embassy in Abu Dhabi. I have considered your application, taking into account your supporting documentation and the answers to the questions during the further interview. You have been assigned a CAS to follow a Pre-Sessional English and Study Skills course at Bangor University. You completed your last form of full time study, a Bachelors programme in Law, in Egypt in 2000. You state that you then practiced law for 6 years before moving to Bahrain where you have resided for the last 7 years. However, I am led to doubt your reasons and intentions for returning to full time study now, given that is has been more than 13 years since your last course of study in Egypt. You state that the reason for this break in studies was because of both time and money. I refer to question 17 of the interview record where you stated “The study need 2 things – time and money. First period i did have time to start studies and money was not enough to take hold of my life it take 20 years or more to get this study”. However, I do not consider this a credible reason and I am therefore satisfied that your answers in further interview were not reflective of genuine student with an intention to follow a course in the UK.
You state that upon completion of this language course you will seek further study opportunities to Masters degree level (LLM) but if you are unsuccessful in obtaining the relevant language score, you will leave the UK and return to your current employment in Bahrain. However, I do not consider this to be a plausible explanation given the significant time and financial investment in your proposed studies. In addition I note that you already have an English language qualification (IELTs) and it is unclear whether this additional course of study will enhance or improve your existing qualifications to the level that you require for admission onto the Masters degree programme. This leads me to further doubt your post-study plans as stated during the interview. You state that you intend to follow an LLM as this qualification will improve your skills in both legal terminology and knowledge of commercial law. Whilst this could be considered a plausible explanation it is unclear whether this legal qualification, if obtained in the UK, is transferable or related to the existing legal system in Bahrain. My concerns are further strengthened as you have not sought further study or improvements at any stage since arriving in Bahrain and it therefore unclear how this single qualification, in isolation, will enhance your existing career or employment prospects. On the balance of probabilities, I am not satisfied that you are a genuine student and I therefore refuse your application under paragraph 245ZV(k) of the Immigration Rules.

Kindly advise me what shall I do ?

Hello , today I sent a message to the manger of Eco ,
Dear Entry Clearance Manager,
Good day to you, regarding my AR review, yesterday I received the final decision
And I would like to say I was not expected this decision, I saw the reason behind the rejection and I’m wondering if your Eco was looking for a reasons for approve or reject!

I cat not believe that was happened, I got a refuse for the first time because your Eco was not feeling satisfied and again for the AR was not feeling satisfied for your Eco decision and finally when you based my file to a new Eco who also not feeling satisfied again!

I am writing this message to inform you, surely the department of Eco have a Satisfaction problems. And I regret to believe their was a persecute for my Egyptian nationality.

What credibility?

Waiting for three months for you and your Ecos feel Satisfaction.

Which kind of procedures or services called this?

Unsatisfaction department

It seems those guys they were kind of looking for excuses to denied your visa. Reasons they have givens there, doesn't make sense to me. I think you have done as much as anyone could have done to prove that you are genuine student and they still refuse.

Think through your options, may be you can try other countries, Goodluck.

I think the Entry Officer very harsh on you regarding the decision based on the way you have answered your question.

Did you contact your University? Before going for the administrative review please contact with your University as well with all these information. I think they would be able to help you and assist you.

I couldn't see anything wrong with your answers in the first place, but if you going for AR again you will need to address their reasons for refusal and their main concerns. Below are few ideas to help you develop your own ideas;

1.Why now
Of course studying need time and money unless one parents are rich / sponsored by government / organisation, One need to work hard to save some money. Therefore i am surprised why ECO think these are not credible or genuine reasons. They are absolutely credible and genuine reasons.

2. You might not return home.
Just because you going to spend a lots of money it doesn't follow that you will not to return to your home country. May be you can explain to them the kind of Salary you might get there in Bahrain with your Masters degree which in some instance might be much higher than in UK. Many British people go there for works including some lawyers.

The fact that you are willing to spend a lot of money to study LLM at decent University should have been proof in itself that you are genuine and serious student intending to follow the course wholeheartedly especially as the money comes from your own pocket. You could have chosen cheaper course if you wish. It should have helped to strengthen your application not other way round as it was interpreted by ECO.

3.That you might not be able to complete English course successful.
The English courses in most University are designed specifically to help students in their chosen course. The fact that you have English qualification IELTS is positive point and show that you can follow your English course in UK successful and not negative point as ECO implies.

4. Doubts whether this course will improve your existing career or employment prospect.
Of course LLM will definitely improve your skills, knowledge and understanding of commercial law. It is also very likely that will help you get better higher paying job. I don't why this was "unclear" to the ECO. It should have been crystal clear. Let them know that the LLM degree can never be taken in Isolation, it should be looked at in the context of your previous studies, career experience and your career prospect. It is just like cherry on top of cake which make the whole thing complete. It will definitely help you become much more attractive to many companies in Bahrain and in the region, because degree obtained in UK are widely respected international especially in Middle East.

5. Lack of improvements since finishing your first degree.
Explain you have learn as much from actively practising law in Bahrain as you would have learned from taking further education course in Bahrain. Practising law is also about learning as you likely to come up against new scenarios every so often in your work.

6. British legal system is different from Bahrain legal system and the skill you acquire in UK will not be useful in Bahrain.
Explain how Bahrain Judiciary system is divided into two Sharia Law Courts and Civil Law Courts (which have similarities to UK legal system, big part of it was inherited and retained after independence from Britain. Especially in areas of trade, industry and commerce and therefore skills acquired in UK can be easily be transferable to Bahrain).

Well, those are just some ideas to help you. If they refuse again you can seek Judiciary Review if you have time and resources.

Pleasant day Seneca, How are you ?
Today , I received response as follow:

ECM Comment:
(I have reviewed your application in full, taking into the account the points made in your Administrative Review request.
You have reiterated the statements that you made at interview regarding why you have chosen to study English in the United Kingdom and why you intend to study an LLM after this English course. These were correctly considered by the Entry Clearance Officer when processing your application. Your grounds for Administrative Review do not address the reasons given by the Entry Clearance Officer in your refusal notice, and they do not satisfy me that you are a genuine student.
I therefore maintain the decision to refuse your application for the reasons given by the Entry Clearance Officer.)

I swear if there is no immunity I have brought them not only the civil courts to compensation for the damage to me, but criminal courts on charges of fraud.

SORRY TO HEAR this brother,, on one point they are right ,you had to mention the ground of refusal by Eco and your answer to that refusal ground and explain what was the mistake made by the eco in regards to that refusal ground, You completely miss understood the AR Part 2, You should have to take a complete advice before filling in the Part 2 section, that section provides you complete opportunity to defend your self with mentioning the mistakes of eco,,, I regret you failed to do that, where u spend alot spend some extra to get that done by an experienced person like an professional lawyer,, go for a Judicial review and take the revenge, if you win in JR you will get ur expenses back from them. Hire a good lawyer and fight for that, don't worry you will get the visa trust me,

Hi every one,
I filed administrative review on 8th September from Pakistan for the refusal of Uk visa ( tier4). The reason for the refusal was not being the genuine student. I want to know the status fof my application now because my course has already started on 28th September. I have informed my University and they said the can take me till 12th of October. Kindly help me knowing the contacts where I can trace the status of my administrative review.
