English language requirement for dependent

Dear All

I am on Tier 1 General visa and living in UK since 2006.

I got married in pakistan and want to bring my wife here on Tier 1 General dependent visa. My question is re english language requiremnt. Does she must have English language certificate to apply for dependend visa.

I know english language is compulsory for ILR but not sure if this is compulsory for dependent visa as well,,,

please help.

That is only for Indefinite Leave to Remain, not dependent visas. To quote the the page you linked to, right in the first paragraph it states:
Gov.UK wrote:"You might need to prove your knowledge of the English language if you’re over 18 and applying for citizenship or to settle in the UK (known as ‘indefinite leave to remain’)..."
