Tier 2 General to Tier 2 dependent

Hi ,

First of all i would to thank you all for being helpful and kind.
Currently i am on tier 2 general visa but i want to Switch to tier 2 dependent visa because i like to change my current job.
Also, end of next year i will be completing my 10 years in Uk so i will apply for ILR on the basis of 10 years rule.
After switching to tier 2 dependent route am i eligible to apply for ILR inside the country on the basis of 10 years rule .
Please reply and advice me .
