CAN IT be a problem?

I am applying for An EEA4 application and I do not have a correct date of my first entry into the Uk. I lost my passport which had that stamp about 7 years ago.

I had the date in my head when I applied for my EEA2 but now I cannot remember it.

Could it be an issue if I explain in writing of why I do not have added this info?
