Withdrawing an appeal

Post by omotola » Tue Jul 15, 2014 12:25 am

I got an appeal coming up in August 2014 but another solicitor advised me to submit a fresh application based on 7yrs route for my son and include my name as he was born in the UK. However, my solicitor explained to me that if I am going to submit a fresh application I must withdraw the appeal.

Could please help me with this?

You need to provide more information, about your immigration history, why did you have to appeal in the 1st place?

Perhaps then someone will be able to guide you better.

Thanks
I applied for an extension on Tier 1 and it was refused in December 2013. I appealed home office decision and the hearing is in August 2014.

You need to make a fresh application if you have a pending appeal and want to reapply on a different category. Hope this helps you. Regards.

Hello, In addition to my earlier post, you will need to withdraw your appeal in order to make a fresh immigration application. Hope this helps.
