Hi what's the basis of your application? Spouse of an Irish citizen? Or did you apply in your own right?

Any new approvals please?

I applied in during 2nd half of Feb, 2nd Stage in early April,
They asked for copy of new GNIB early July.

No approval yet.

Any one else in the same situation?

Got a confimed mail from them, it said mid-late september not October. 22 september precisely. There is still hope for new approval in august maybe to mid august I think.
beloved is the belief that there are inherent differences in people's traits and capacities that are entirely due to their race, however defined, and that, as a consequence, justify the different treatment of those people, both socially and legally.

DUBLIN CITIZENSHIP CEREMONY IN SEPTEMBER 2014

The next citizenship ceremonies will take place in The Convention Centre Dublin, Spencer Dock, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1 on Monday 22nd September, 2014.
Some 3,100 candidates will attend the ceremonies where they will take an oath of fidelity to the nation, receive their certificate of naturalisation and thereby become Irish citizens.

2014 Citizenship

Post by senyo1 » Wed Aug 06, 2014 5:02 pm

I sent an email today 6/08/2014 to citizenship. this is the reply sent to me .The position remains as stated, your application is at an advanced stage of processing and you will be informed of the Ministers decision as
expeditiously as possible. Does it mean that i could get approval before September 22 for the ceremony. Thanks, anybody there.

I think there might be a few approvals this week or next week. If not there wont be any more. And if they come these approvals wont be able to make it to 22nd Sep ceremony. When did you applied Senyo1? And On what basis?

Not sure that Advance Stage means waiting for Minister's decision. Different people have different experiences. For some it was very quick, for others it took longer. Hope for the best anyways. Nothing much we can do.

No more approvals for the time being I guess.

As I said different people have different experiences. Roughly I think it takes a month.

You need to be a bit patient. Sometime they reply after 24 hours.

I wouldn't start jumping to conclusions just yet.

It looks like INIS are busy sending out invitations at the moment, if this thread is anything to go by:
