Family Visitor Visa Success

Post by Cf_firefly » Mon Jul 07, 2014 1:40 pm

All ,

My Parents have been granted Family Visitor Visa . Below is our case and docs submitted which I am sharing for the benefit of people applying :

My Father a retired government employee and my mother is a house wife . I was sponsoring my parents (all expenses ) and I am British citizen ( Status in UK ) .The only thing left to prove /show was if my parents will leave UK before visa expires . For this I showed “ strong ties to Home country “ which we did by showing the property docs in my parents name . I was not sure if we need to show income generated from these properties as I was covering the full expenses for this trip but since I did not want to take a chance , I have asked the CA to prepare the IT returns for income generated from these properties which we submitted a copy(s) of it . I have applied from Hyderabad , India and we got visa granted in 9 working days .

Sponsor’s Docs :

1. British Passport Details Page
2. Letter from employer
3. Six Months Pay slips
4. P60 ( optional )
5. Six Months Current account Bank statements
6. Savings Accounts statements ( optional if you have monies in current account )
7. Tenancy Agreement
8. Utility Bill(s)
9. Council Tax Letter ( optional )
10. Invitation and Sponsorship Letter

Visitor Docs ( 2 sets ) :

1. Pass books for agriculture lands (Translated to English ).
2. Flat registration documents.
3. Valuation certificate (For above mentioned properties).
4. Chartered Accountant certificate.
5. Fixed deposit certificates copies .
6. One Year Bank Account statement .
7. Aadhaar Card Photocopy .
8. PAN Card Photo copy.
9. Telephone Bill Photocopy.
10. Income Tax Returns Copy.
11. Flat Tax Documents.
12. Online Printed and completed application form.
13. Visitor Letter to ECO.

Thanks
Firefly

Hi, Thanks for sharing the details.

Could you please let me know how/where did you translate the documents into English? Do we have to convert the whole documents into English? Who will give the valuation certificate?

Can I get all these from Notary advocate?

Documents Translation - who is eligible to do it? does it need some authorised signature? if yes who is authorised?

Could you please refrain from digging up all the 2 year old threads and posting single questions. If you have a query about a visitor visa application, start your own topic with all the relevant detail, rather than tagging single line questions onto other members old threads.
