income source for dependent visa-urgent help pls

do we need to show any accountant letter or source of income while applying for T1E dependent visa or just maintenence funds enough

Maintenance funds, no need to show source of income.

Check other threads regarding dependant visas. That's what they did.

Did u apply depedent visa for ur wife , if so can u please let me know what all the documents and the process that you are doing ? i got my visa in Feb 2014 and Iam in UK now and my wife is applying visa from outside UK.

bank statements showing maintenance funds
communication evidence
marriage certificate
marrigiage pics
paid receipt of online application fee
utility bills

My wife received dependent visa today from India.
Total time taken 10 working days
Docs submitted:
My visa n passport photocopies
630 bank maintenance
Tenancy agreement
Marriage certificate and photos
Telephone bills
Paid application fee from uk online

I did not show any income proof or any other my business details

My wife docs:
Her passport
Tb certificate from an uk government approved hospital

I got Tier 1 Visa from Pakistan in September 2013, i had only applied for my self and didn't applied for my dependents although i had shown the maintenance funds in my account to cover my dependents. Now its almost a year since i made initial entry and now i want to apply for my dependents.
Please advice how much maintenance funds i have to show for my two dependents application.

To be honest I maintained around 2700
However I was told by three solicitors that 630 is enough as we already got visa

Why you guys are confused ??

If main aplicant wants to apply then you need just £930 for 3 months.
if main aplicant wants to apply with one dependant then £930 for main applicant and £630 separately for dependant.(3 months)
If main aplicant wants to apply for dependant after issued his/her visa.Then you need just £630 for dependant.(3 months)

Policy guidance says £930 and £630 if you are applying together.I think so thats why people get confused.

You can maintain as much as you can but it's not gonna affect your dependant application because they will only look for £630 for 3 months.

Congrats dancing guy. I'm in the process of applying too for my spouse. I just need to know if the £630 should be in a UK based account or home country account. My spouse is outside the UK but I've been in the UK more than 12 months. Would a UK account be okay to show maintenance funds or does it have to be home country account? Thanks.

UK account is fine, doesnt have a requirment that it should be in overseas account.

Funds can be here in the UK account
Only 630 for 3 months if your stay is more than12 months in the UK per dependent

Hi all ,

Before filling the dependent application ,we need to just select the type of visa, under select visa type:
Reason for visit we select : WORK
Visa type: Tier1(Entrepreneur) visa
Visa sub type: ???
Iam confuse what we need to select at visa subtype,for the dependent(wife), the options are
Tier 1 Entrepreneur Child,Tier 1 Entrepreneur Migrant,Tier 1 Entrepreneur partner.

seeing the options we go for Tier 1 Entrepreneur partner, normally we do have a ENTREPRENEUR PARTNER'S for entrepreneur Visa, but in the case of dependent what should we select please help
