Did you send it by recorded delivery? If not-then it gets more difficult, if yes- check with Royal Mail when it was delivered to HO and who signed by. It took me around 2 weeks to receive reply from them, which was a "no" anyway.

It all seemed to be too good to be true when I got my approval letter. Now, 10 working days past and I still don't have my BRP. Got to contact them again. Arrrrrr!

Yes I sent it by recorded delivery and fax as well.
Date of further documents request: 8 August - date on HO letter 06/08/2014.
MP received email from HO 11/08/2014 – Saying a decision will be made once all documents are received and check by HO.
Date of further documents request was sent to HO - 12/08/2014 - received by HO 13/08/2014.
STILL AWAITING ON DECISION.

Ref from page:306
Hello,
I have just got a refusal letter today from HO!! They refused me under the COP rules. i am an old work permit holder.
I have got work permit on 18th of june 2008 as a hotel manager and the salary was £19k (45 hours pw).
But under the COP on my position it says, I have to earn £19k (39 hours pw)!!
as i believe HO made this rules on March 2011.
On my last p60 (which i did submit on HO) was £19,700
My question is, why they applying the new rules on me and what should I do now?
I have a right to apeal by 18th of February.
I need all of your advice please. Any referance will be much appreciated.
Thank you
===============================================
Hi All,
After that, I have made an appeal and got the hearing date after 6 months (19.08.14)
but 2 days just before my hearing date got a letter from court saying that, they adjourn the date to 18.12.2014 :( totally gutted!!!!
OK. I NEED ALL OF YOUR ADVICE PLEASE
HO changed the SOC code again and on my job position it says i have to earn £15,900.00 ( 39 hrs, hourly £7.84) SOC code: 1221
Wheres I am earning £7.91 per hour atm.
My lawyer adviced me to withdraw the appeal and make a fresh application by PEO!!!
now I am debating myself!! shall I or shall I Not !!
PLEASE ANY SUGGESTION or ADVICE WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

I have been a silent reader of this forum for many months (almost 5 months). This forum has been an excellent companion on this long journey during my ILR application. I am very grateful with people who posted their timelines that helped me to realise the actual waiting time. so, please find below my timeline:

* Application Set(M) using the Settlement Checking Service : 28 March 2014
* Confirmation letter of application from HO : 1 April 2014
* Biometrics done: 11 April 2014
* Confirmation letter of successful ILR from HO : received on 21 August 2014 (dated 15 August 2014)
* BRP : 19 August 2014 (redelivered on 22 August 2014)

The letter of confirmation came by the Royal Mail and the BRP by the DX courier.

If I had known about this long wait, I would have applied on the same day service.

All the best and good luck for all who are waiting.
