OCI application

I have to apply OCI for whole family after couple of week. I was looking document list for this purpose. There is a mention that child birth certificate should be recent one. Can someone provide information. The birth certificate of my child is issued at the time of birth in india. Do I have to take new birth certificate for child?

Just provide the birth certificate you have.
