can an illegal immigrant get married in republic of ireland?

a quick question, can an illegal immigrant get married in republic of ireland?

if they want to take it serious, they will tell you that you signed on visa forms originally that you do not plan to get married in ireland.. and if they are laid back, they will demand you prove to them that its not sham marriage (marriage of inconvenience).. again, this might be wrong, maybe seek advice from irish authorities over phone

There is still no law to prevent a marriage/ceromony . The marriage register if they are suspicious can contact INIS ,the outcome is a grey area.
A divorce cert if married previously,apostle cert and passport are all that is required.
