Visa / Permit rights after EEA spouse dies

Post by ActionAnt » Mon Sep 22, 2014 7:50 am

Hi All

My father, a German citizen passed away a couple of years ago.
My mother, a South African citizen, wants to know if she is able to get a family permit / visa of some kind as she was married to him for 15 years, up until his death.

Is there anything that she would be entitled to?

Thanks in advance
Anton

Father itself is not relevant. But likely you are German. If she financially dependent on you and you live outside of Germany, then there are options.
