ILR calculation

Post by himanshu2014 » Mon Sep 22, 2014 4:01 pm

Hi All

I have few doubts about ILR calculations and would be thankful if you guys can clarify

I got my tier 1 stamped on 3rd Nov 2010
I came to UK in December 2010 ( within 90 days)
After 7 days I went back and finally came back in April 2011 ( after 4 months)
Started Job in June 2011.
Since then I have been continuously employed.
Since then I have went out of UK for not more than 15 days in a year.

As per visa dates, I will complete 5 years on 2nd Nov 2015.

My Queries are for ILR :

1. How to justify the 4 months of Initial gap ? Do i need to submit nay docs for this?
2. Will this gap be any issues ? as I though it comes within the 180 days rule for a year
3. Do we have to show the employer letter for every day spent out of country during 5 years if yes then is there a standard format ?

Thanks for your help

Himanshu

No idea yet. spoke to one solicitor and he said that there is nothing to worry as you fall within the 180 days window.
