Tier 1 dependent and father family visitor visa

Post by sureshkk22 » Mon Sep 22, 2014 10:47 am

Hi,

Is it possible apply for my son's dependent visa and father's family visitor visa together in the same appointment
at VFS chennai with the same set of supporting documents (and 2 set of copies)?

Is there any risk of rejection applying both the visas at the same time? I am happy to apply for the visas one after the other which is son's visa first and father's later. Please suggest me the safest option.

Thanks,
Suresh

In any case it would be 2 different applications and deal with own merits. So applying togather or separately don't effect each other. Your child dependent application has 100% success chances because its totally rely on your documents while family visits application chances always depends on sponsor and applicant both circumstances. I would suggest apply togather

Thanks

I am not sure how VFS work with two applications at the same time.
Do they send both applications as a single package to BHC?
Is single set of original documents good enough for both the applications?

You will have to fill up 2 separate applications from 2 separate login accounts, which means two separate appointments. Although they are 2 different appointments, it will be possible to go to a VFS counter together.

One set of original documents and 2 sets of copies (1 for each) is good to carry in hand. I can see the only original document that will be common to both applications will be the original bank statements.
Cheers,

A quick question

who signs child dependent application form?
Is that father's sign or child's finger print?

Thanks
