Tier 1 G to ILR : 5 year period confirmation

Post by rathore4u » Mon Sep 29, 2014 9:23 pm

Hi guys,

I am in UK on T1G and I have to decide whether to go for another Extension or I am eligible for ILR.
I tried to read through the continuous period calculation guideline but it seemed too confusing to me, so i am seeking help from experts or people with same experience here.

Below are the dates

1. Initial Clearance : 30 Sept 2010 to 30 Sept 2012
2. Date of first entry to UK : 15 Nov 2010 ( 45 days later )
3. First Extension in Aug 2012 upto 30 Sept 2015

My queries are

1. I have a total of 149 days of absence including the initial 45 days delay. Will I be eligible for ILR in Sept 2015?
2. If I am eligible when is the earliest I can apply for ILR?

Thanks,
SR

1. Yes. (Read pg 19 of Calculating Continuous period)
2. 28 days prior to 30 Sep 2015
