Tier 2 ICT Short term staff partner

Hello,

I need a help regarding dependant visa eligibilty for working.

Am on a ICT Tier 2 Short term staff migrant visa for 1 year and my husband has come as a dependant.

Is he eligible to work in UK as my dependant for Contracting jobs.
