No, mine was delayed because it didn't fill and sign in Section 5. Hence they sent me that page to sign last month after which the biometric invitation has been issued.

Can you confirm the dates with your friend that
what date his Mrs applied for her FLR(M)?
I am dead sure that she applied it beofre the 6th of April 2014,
and than could you also confirm with them that,
Did she received a 2 years visa on that FLR(M) ?
Yet again I am dead sure on that, that she received a 2 years visa.
If both of the above statements are correct than she was still covered under the transitional arrangements, any application after the 6th of April 2014, from a dependent of a settled person through long residency i.e 10 years long stay, have to apply FLR(M) through Appendix(FM) and I don't think that paragraph 287(a) is relevant any more.
If you can kindly confirm these dates for us, that will be great, as there are many members who can take advantage from your friends case, and this information is very relevant, especially to the dependents of settled person through 10 years long residency.
We will be eagerly waiting for your reply. Many thanks.

Hello Shahjee bhai,

I am confirming that both application made on 2013. So I was asking whether 287(a ) is still existing in home office policy or not.
Anyway, I will check the policy again or I will send email to Home office for confirmation.

Many thanks for your cordial cooperation.

Hello Shahjee bhai,

Now I have seen the updated rules (28th July 2014) and found that in immigration rules part 8, still 287a 1 d is existing and states that
"__(d) the applicant was admitted to the UK or given an extension of stay as the spouse or civil partner of a Relevant Points Based System Migrant; and then obtained an extension of stay under paragraphs 281 to 286 of these Rules and has completed a period of 2 years as the spouse or civil partner of the person who is now present and settled here."

Dear Shahjee bhai,

Have you seen the above mentioned policy at home office website? Do you have any suggestion for me?

Many thanks,

Ahmed[/quote]

Is it still valid can spouse eligible to apply? Please advice Bro shahjee or any experts bro/sis members so lots of member can relief on this issue which is tottaly complicated at this moment after i seen the above.

I have question regarding my son status. He is 10 months old and once I receive my ilr I'm planing to apply for registration using form mn1. I want to find out is there any age restrictions. As this dec he will be 12 months old and right now he hasn't got any visa. I'm just applying for his Pakistani passport.

Secondly my wife came to UK in jan 2012 and currently on Tier 1 general dependant visa. Once I get my ilr can I apply for her ilr straight away as she came before the 5 year route. Or do I have to apply flr(m) before ilr. And if so when can she apply for ilr. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ali
Hello Allesheikh,
There is no age restriction to applying for MN1. You can apply for someone who is born today as long as you have received your ILR before the birth.
You can not apply straight away for your wife's ILR. Yes you have to apply FLR(M) for your mrs first, then after 5-years(as per the new rule) you can apply for her ILR. As you obtained your ILR after 6th of April, her previous stay in the UK is now set to zero. She will have to start all over again starting with first 2.5 yrs on FLR(M) and then another 2.5 yrs completing 5-years (2.5yrs + 2.5 yrs = 5yrs- qualified for ILR). Hope my explanation is clear enough?
Goodluck.

Hi

Thanks for your reply my son was born on 4 dec 2013 that time I was on Tier 1 general and I am applying for ILR now so once i get my ILR i can apply for MN1 registration right?

Regarding my wife even if my wife came before this 5 year route still she has to wait for 5 year she arrived in UK on 27JAN 2012 and currently on tier 1 general dependant. As I have spoken to one solicitor few months back and he advised me that once she gets dependent visa on FLR(M) she can apply straight away for ILR. And if 5 year route do I have to show income. Please clarify and sorry to be a pain.

Thanks

Hello Allesheikh,
Yes you can apply for your sons British Citizen Registration using form MN1 once you obtain you ILR.
The solicitor you spoke with was right at the time you had the conversation with him/her. But that is no longer applicable now, because the rule has changed since April 6th, your wife will have to apply for FLR(M) then another further 2.5 years extension before completing 5yrs for her ILR.
Yes you have to meet the income threshold of £18,600 (your monthly wage for 1-year) or(combination of your wife's wage and your wage).

Hi ,

Those who are waiting for decision on ILR ,, It seems HO does on an average of 30 applications every month and if my reporting tool analysis i correct by end of October we can see decisions on July applications hopefully start August applications ( keep in mind many staff will take off during Half term this may delay applications to an extent ....

As I said before this is just my assumption using the data for 12 months .

30 applications per month ..... so guys have patience and don't stress yourself and enjoy the wait ..

But point to be noted that the number of applications will decrease during the next couple of months that might be helpful ....

Cheers

Hi Saleem bahi,
As you can see Universal Soldier have very kindly answered your query already, the only thing I want to a certain is that I hope your Masters Degree is from a UK university, as that gives you exemption, so please make sure on that.
Photographs with your name written on the back
And rest you are looking good for the application, go for it mate. All the best.
