Travelling towards the end of Tier 4 Visa

Post by orgoneorganism » Mon Oct 20, 2014 9:05 pm

Hi, I am a Phd Student in University of Stirling, Scotland. My visa is due to expire on 31st of January, 2015. I was expected to submit my thesis by September 31st (end of course date) but it has been extended to 31st of December, 2014. I have a Confirmation letter from the University that shows the new course end date. I have to travel abroad in 2 days due to a family emergency and I have booked flights to return on November 5th. Would I be refused entry even though I still have to submit my thesis? Also, what other documents would I need with me? Thanks.
