My Situation
I'm in UK on T1 (General) Visa since March 2010 then my wife came as T1(G) Dependant in Mid Nov 2013. Her visa is expiring with me on March 2015 and we're both going In-Person in March 2015. I'll use SET(O) form & apply for ILR. But I've confusions about my wife's next visa because by March 2015, my wife will be in UK for only 16 Months...
My Confusion?
1. Which Form she should use? Will she be granted ILR dependant visa? OR Will she be granted ILR? (I heard from 2 different person, their spouses got ILR (Are they just got lucky or there are any rules? or it's just a matter of choosing right form?
2. Or she'll be granted T1(G) Dependant visa again? (As guys suggested on forum in past), if yes then here is my confusion;
- A) From Mar2015; I'll be on ILR & get UK Citizenship by 2016 while she'll remain on T1(G) Dependant visa. Is it not wrong?
B) As a T1 (G) Dependant she might get visa for another 3 years till March 2018. But her 5 years completes in November 2018. Will she go for another extension to qualify for ILR, I mean when & how she'll be able to apply for ILR? whereas new rules suggests that No ILR after April 2018 for T1(G). Will she be affected by this rule? Many Thanks
