Tier1 General Migrant Dependant Visa

Post by UpendraBestha » Thu Jul 03, 2014 10:59 pm

Hi,

Apologies if the same information has already been discussed in the same thread, I did search for the information I required unfortunately couldn't find and hence this post.

My query is about

1-> How many days(months) in a year can Tier 1 Dependant can stay out of UK?
2-> My wife spent 4 months only in the Year 2012 and again she joined me in 2014 year in the Month of January? Will this 4 months considered during ILR process?
3-> I assume that to be eligible for ILR, a Tier 1 dependant has to stay for 2 years only ( not sure whether it is continuous of 2 Years ) ? Please correct me if I am wrong on this.

Thanking you very much in advance for your help on this?

Hi Amber,

Sorry, I meant I was not clear with your reply so looking for more clarity information. It will be really really helpful if you could provide solutions/reply to my below queries please.

1-> How many days in a year Can PBS Tier 1 Dependant can stay out of UK?

2-> My wife spent 4 months only in the Year 2012 and again she joined me in 2014 year in the Month of January? Will this 4 months considered during ILR process?

3-> I assume that to be eligible for ILR, a Tier 1 dependant has to stay for 2 years only ( not sure whether it is continuous of 2 Years or any gaps allowed ) ? Please correct me if I am wrong on this

Thanks
Upendra.

Up to the caseworker as absences should be limited and for good reason. Supply evidence of a subsisting relationship during the periods of absence.

---> My wife spent 4 months only in the Year 2012 and again she joined me in 2014 year in the Month of January? Will this 4 months considered during ILR process? i.e., will 4 months Stay added to 2 Years rule in order to eligible for ILR.

So long as the leave didn't expire abroad you should be ok.

Hi Amber what about is the visa expired abroad but for a medical reason. Can still be counted towards the 2 year rule or reset the period. Thanks in advance for your help on this.
