Help please.2 questions about set[o] form

I have 2 questions about set[o] form for my tier 1 G to ILR 5 years

7.11. How long have you lived in the UK?
Please provide details of any periods of absence of more than six months during that time.
below my visa history:
8/02 - 12/06 student visa
1/07 - 4/09 wp
Then job lost ,went back home for 7 months.Came back with tier 1 g
11/09 - 11/14 tier 1 g

so should I enter 12 years 2 months ,then put reason for absence on it.
or 5 years

For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents
showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules.
What documents do I need prepare for this?

Your visa expired while you were out of the UK and therefore it broke the continuous residence.

Section 11.L does not apply to you if you are claiming 5 years ILR based on only T1G.
