Tier 1 dependent visa status when main applicant gets ILR

Post by db83 » Sun Feb 03, 2013 6:50 pm

Hello folks,

I posetd this question in ILR section - but no one had an answer to this. So just wanted to check has anyone experienced this before or know what would happen in the below circumstances

1. Wife and lil one are opn Tier dependent and currently in India with validity until Sept 2013
2. Main applicant (me) applying for ILR in March

Suppose my ILR gets approved, can my wife and lil one travel back to UK on their Tier 1 dependent visa and then apply for extension.
Or would the Tier 1 dependent visa goes void, because I've moved to ILR.

Any suggestions/guidance/help...appreciated.
I'm just trying to help !

Hi Mate

I am in same situation as you were in, i would appreciate if you can tell me what you did in this situation.

did your dependents visa got void when you got your ilr ? did you need to go for their dependent visa along with ur ILR ?

Kindly reply.

If your visa status changed to ILR, your dependents can stay unto their current validity.
