Hello Fellow Board Members

I am currently in UK on Tier 1 and it runs out in 2017 when i and my family would be eligible for ILR. I know that Tier 1 renewals will stop from 5th April 2015. My wife is currently pregnant and is due in July next year. Is it possible to apply for a dependent visa for the new member under Tier 1 in July 2015?

Please advise.

Tier 1 dependent entry clearance and extensions won't be closed in 2015. Main applicant extension will be closed.
Eventually, every tier 1 main applicant will get ILR (given that he is eligible). As long as there is tier 1 main applicant with valid tier 1 visa, you will still be able to apply for dependent.
