Hi all! This may well be my last contribution on this thread. The thread was almost idle for a while until it was revived around April/May and now it appears interest is dying down again. I'm sure there are many others silently following events here and I believe you all find the information here very useful when dealing with the challenges we face with immigration processes by knowing that you're not alone. I hope you'll continue with the participation just as many have done before us - if you don't contribute no one else will, so please take the stand to encourage others and not let this die.

If anyone is still checking this page, has anyone applied for a Travel Document? The new form doesn't say whether to send the BRP card or not. This is sooooo confusing. Can you direct me to someone who can assist or a number I can call

New to this, but as Hwima mentioned, there might be silent followers, I was one but not anymore. Sad that Hwima is leaving, been a good soldier on this forum, but for a good reason he goes, and congratulations to him. Am still waiting for my ILR as well... timeline below:

Hello everyone, I a was very observing quietly for from about early October, I am happy to see everyone being successful in regards to their documentation. I wish people could be loving and supportive like this in real life and not when we're all in the needs of help and documents. But at the same times I'm very much please with the information i've been witnessing so far. The following information will give the knowledge of my history of waiting.

Application sent: 9th of Sept/2014.
Application Received by UKVI: 10th of Sept/2014
Biometric Letter Received: 18th of Sept/2014
Enrolled Biometrics: 18th of Sept/2014
Approval Letter Receive: waiting
BRP Card Receive: Waiting.

Yes I myself has come so far, The opportunity of being here is much more greater than to be waiting on the document i should admit.
They are so many people who still fighting their cases, so many who has just started the process of their first day, weeks, month or year of their qualifying period. So i'm grateful for where i am. One love everyone and be strong and share the love with or without the papers.

My very dear fiends

We finally got our ILR and BRP (me , my wife , son and daughter)
My timeline:
Application posted: 16th July
BRP and acknowledgement Letter Dated: 1st August 2014
Biometric Letter Received: 05 August 2014
Enrolled Biometrics: 06 August 2014
BRP + ILR :18/11/14

It took 4 months and 2 days.
Important point 1: I had a bankruptcy in 2009 (cleared 2010) , and I was very nervous about it , I attached a letter to my application giving detailed explanation why I got bankrupted and why I think I have had no fault on it , which seems had been noted.

Important point 2: My son's student finance was suspended 2 months ago because we were not able at that time his BRP to Student Finance England , but I made a representation (official complain ) to them and fortunately it worked , and his loan was granted without further delay.

I really enjoyed this forum , and got lot of valuable information , thanks to those people managing this web also. Will be in contact with many of you in around a year when applying for naturalization.

I don't have any criminal record even any slightest conviction nor any immigration history.

"AIDA" has similar timings of application and biomatrics, Please reply if Aida and anyone else has the same timings about their progress.

Hi All, finally got my ILR...roughly 4 months it took, just keep hanging in. Am sure Purplesoup u not far off, if not already got it.
Below is my timeline:

All people are different. So just because you got same timeline with someone, doesn't mean you'll get exact service and person, especially with thousands of applications.Like lining up in post office or local supermarket, doesnt mean you'll spend same time as that person.

Can please anybody know after receiving our ILR when can we apply for the neutralization.
My humanitarian protection was due on 06/01/2015 and i applied for my ILR as above.

Dear No need to give this information as u can only give travel history if u travel more than 3 months outside of uk

I have to apply SET P after feb. I have lost my immigration status document. I only have travel document. I am just wondering if i can apply with travel document only?

Yeh You can ,with travel document you need to report to police for lost document and send them report number.
