You are quite senior from application submission point of view. My submission was in late July and I have been told that it is submitted to Minister (last Tuesday). Hopefully I will not be late as you are. All the best for every one.

Application submitted: 18th August 2014
Acknowledgement letter received: 26th August 2014
Letter confirming 2nd stage: about 3 weeks later - somewhere in September (can't remember exact date)
Approval letter is dated 20th November 2014

From reading the comments here it seems mine was quite quick. Wishing all those waiting for their letters all the very best and God's favour on their applications.

wahoooo same answer "in process" although they originally promised ppl on work permit and green card an easy facility to get them things at faster pace... same lies, different date..

ps. if your name contains one of the common names in middleeast or asia, then you are highly likely to wait (at least this is what i have heard from ppl who applied)
