British travel document working in Ierland

Post by Watandar » Mon Nov 24, 2014 9:26 pm

Dear members,

A friend of mine in UK who is an Afghan refugee, has a British travel document would like to know if he can move to Ierland and work there.

Has someone more info regarding this? Please advise.

Kind regards,

What do you mean a British travel document? Has he received British citizenship? If not, his British documents will hold no weight in the Republic of Ireland.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

No he does not have a BC. He only has a traveldocument.

Then he won't be eligible to work in Ireland.
