Congrats Banana07, I know you were waiting for that second letter !

What were the extra documents you sent them? Did they ask you for anything extra between the 1st and 2nd letter?

Hope Mr Mail-Man will have my 2nd acknowledgment soon too! I can't wait....

Thanks Johnnie and Saad.. they asked for a copy of my original passport (the expired one) which I already included it in first time, but maybe was not clear copy or was lost between papers etc.. I'm surprised that it still proceeded within the time frame (a 25 - 30 days response time) as usually any extra documents increase the timeframe by 30 days..

yeah, they asked for them after the first ack.. and then when submitted they sent me 2nd ack letter

all in all, my hand is on my heart, although all well (as far as I know).. its just too much of a pain to be restless for 6 months!

good luck for ye guys.. fingers crossed

@ banana07
Stapm 4 Eufam, no long term residency yet, have not been vetted.
I just trust God and believed from day one that my application would be super fast despite the odds.

Wife got her letter of approval today. She applied on July 15th so about 4 months from application to letter of acceptance which is pretty good. She applied on the basis of marriage to an Irish citizen.

Normally how long between the submission of the fee, photos and GNIB card and the initiation letter? About 4 weeks? Would that be about right?
