Company formation in Australia

Hello,

I own a company in UK since 2010, running e-commerce and wholesale retail business.
we are planning to open a branch in Australia, therefore I am planning to go there, form a new company and appoint myself and someone else as a director.
I will need a bank account in australia and obviously an address to register the company and bank account.
in order to do these, what visa or permit do i need to apply? Can a British citizen own a company in Australia and get dividends / or salary?
