ILR Due date - urgent

Post by _Angel_ » Thu Dec 18, 2014 9:17 am

Hi,

My tier 1 (G) visa was granted on 6th July 2009 & I entered UK on 17 Jan 2010. I have scheduled a PEO appointment for 20th December 2014. Just want to confirm if that is ok as it is exactly 28 days before the 5th anniversary.

Please guide...

Thanks

Thanks for replying. However my confusion is
I entered UK on 17th Jan 2010, so the fifth anniversary is 17th Jan 2015. Now if you subtract 28 days from 17th Jan 2015, you get December 20, 2014 and I have booked the appointment for this day.

and the guidance says
Please do not apply more than 28 days before completing the qualifying period. If you apply earlier than that, your application may be refused. If that happens, we will not refund the fee and you will have to pay again when reapplying.
So now i am confused. I think I should be ok as it says more than 28 days but just want to confirm from some senior members.

Many thanks

As far as I know(I did), it should be at least 4 years, 11 months and 2 days.
Look at the related topics link.

Hi Angel,

Can you please share your PEO experience scheduled for 201/12/2014 and were there any questions regarding 28 days qualifying period during your POE appointment?
