Tier 1 General -> ILR

Post by mbhong1 » Wed Jan 21, 2015 7:14 am

Hi guys

Has anyone applied for ILR(Indefinite Leave to Remain) from Tier 1 General?

I had my Tier 1 extended recently, but I have now lived in the UK for 5 year and would like to apply for ILR. The question I have is, whether the 12 month period I'm claiming for earnings is allowed to overlap with the period that I used for Tier 1 extension. For example, I used Mar 2013 - Feb 2014 for Tier 1 extension. Would I be able to use Dec 2013 - Nov 2014 for ILR?

Any comment would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
