CAN THE EXPERTS HELP?

I AM PLANNING ON INVITING MY AUNT TO VISIT MY FAMILY IN THE UK. MY AUNT IS NOT WORKING AND IN HER 60S.
SHE HAS NO BANK ACCOUNT AND HER SON WHO LIVES IN THE USA SENDS HER MONEY AND LOOKS AFTER HER FINANCIALLY.
CAN SHE STILL GO AHEAD TO APPLY FOR A UK VISA? I WILL SPONSOR HER ENTIRE TRIP.
I WELCOME GOOD ADVICE.

what are her ties with her country of residence? any property / estate?
in absence of a bank a/c, how does she receive remittance from her son?
