Switching from Tier 2 (G) to Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Visa

Post by saffi09 » Thu Jan 29, 2015 10:51 am

Hi all,

I am intending to switch from Tier 2 (G) to Tier 1 (Entrepreneur). I have my own funds of 200K available in Pakistan in a regulated bank. I am confused whether these funds are acceptable for my switching application or not? As I was reading on Home Office website that "The funds must be held in UK if applying for leave to remain".

Your kind responses much appreciated.

Regards

Hi,

If you intend to do in-country application, your funds must be in the UK.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply. As I have investment funds available in Pakistan ( home country). In that case, if I apply from my home country, I would be applying for entry clearance rather than switching? And how much maintenance funds do I have to show £945 or £3310.
I appreciate your response.
Thanks
