Change Visa T4 to T2

Hi,

My current visa T4 will expire in July 2015. I am now looking for a permanent job in UK, mostly the graduate scheme which offers sponsorship T2 visa. However, the starting date of the graduate scheme mostly is on September 2015. If I manage to get into one of the graduate scheme in September, do I need to leave UK after my T4 expiry and come back to UK 19days before the start date of my T2 visa or am I eligable to stay in UK while waiting for my T2 start date even after my T4 visa expiry? Please help. Thank you.
