Hello
Just to clarify the 5 years continuous stay in UK
I came to UK on Tier 2 ICT visa valid from 28th Sept 2010 to 12th Oct 2012. My first entry to UK is on 1st Dec 2010 and applied for my Tier 1 General (PBS) visa around 1st week of April 2011 and received my Tier 1 General visa around end of May 2011. The validity starts from 03rd June 2011 and valid for 2 years. I assume I can’t show my Tier 2 ICT visa as part of ILR since it was taken after April 2010 and so it violates the rule for ILR.
My 1st T1 General Visa – Valid from 03rd June 2011 to 03rd June 2013
My 1st T1 General Visa extension – Valid from 03rd June 2013 to 03rd June 2016.
So if I were to apply my ILR in 2016 when can I apply ? I assume we can apply up to 28 days before the visa expiry but if I do this I would haven’t completed my 5 years T1 General visa time in the UK ? Correct me if I’m wrong.
Thanks
