Passport expiration date

Hi,
I applied for a tier 4 visa in Mars 13, and I'm waiting for an answer, but the problem is that my passport expires in April 7 and my cours starts the 6 April, and I booked a flight for the April 2.

SO MY QUESTION IS: will the expiration date of my passport be a problem for my application (or I just need to ask my embassy for a new one when I'm in the UK) ? knowing that I already mentinned the date of expiration when I applied for the college and I sent them a copie of my passport and they told me nothing.
