Expired passport - Schengen Visa

Expired passport - Schengen Visa

I am an Indian citizen living in the UK on work permit, I would be applying for Schengen visa to visit France. My previous passport expired 5 years ago and does not have any visa stamped on it, all my UK visas and any other visas and airport stamps are all on my current passport. I do not have the old expired passport with me currently and is in India. Do I need to submit old passport as well for Schengen visa?

As per the requirements outlined by the French TLS old passports are required. I applied earlier in November last year and was asked to bring only the one before my current passport when I enquired, as I have two expired passports. You may want to check by contacting them yourself.
