Tier 1 ILR appeal allowed

Post by mavirah2015 » Sun Apr 26, 2015 6:53 am

Dear all,

I applied for ILR in November 2013 on the basis of having been on a Tier 1 visa for 5 years. In May 2014 my application was refused. I appealed against that and finally had my oral hearing in March 2015 and on 25th March 2015 my appeal was allowed and the judge declared in the letter that my appeal was allowed under the immigration rules. However my passport expired on 25th April 2015 and it is still with the home office and so Icannot even renew my passport.

I request you all for your help and guidance in this mater. What should I do? Will this affect me in any way and can my ILR be refused again? :(

Warm Regards.

Dear anumkh,

Thank you for your email. Please do accept my sincerest apologies for the delay in my response. UKBA refused my application on the basis that I had not filed my self employment tax returns. However the due date was by January 2015 which I have filed and paid.

Warm Regards.
