ILR (Tier 1 General) Dependent Query

Post by livnow » Fri May 15, 2015 10:22 am

Hi All,

Thanks for all the help. I have a new questions.

I am eligible for ILR in July 2015. I will be applying along with my wife and kid. My wife came to UK on Dec 2010 as tier 1 dependent , but had to go back to india for 1.5 years for the birth of our son. My wife and my son came back to UK on April 2014. There has been no break in the visa for my wife. My question will this 1.5 years out of UK cause any issues during ILR application and what precaution should I take to answer any of those questions ?

Thanks,
Livnow

1.5 yrs is long break , shouldn't be more than 180 days per yr , I guess you have apply for extension .

There seems to be a confusion in my post. To clarify - I did not go to India for 1.5 years. It was just my wife who went to deliver the baby.
