Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa (dependent) Maintenance Requirement

Hi all,

My wife is South Korean and I am considering whether she could apply in the UK or outside of it, due to rules and regulations. She could easy come to the UK as a tourist for a short term period of time, but could she apply for a Dependent visa while staying here as tourist.


Also,

If my wife is planning to apply for dependent visa outside of the UK and I would like to clarify few questions which raised from official dependent guidance on GOV.UK:

1) I have been in the UK for a more than 3 years, but less then a year on TIER 1 visa and I need to show £945 plus £1890 on my bank account for a 90 days prior the day of her application form

2) She could show funds available on her bank account as much as she actually has, because she will be dependant on my immigration status or she needs to present certain amount of money with the same requirements as me.

PS: In guidance it didn't stay clearly how much funds dependent person should present on their account.

2. You have to show £945 in a bank account for 90days. This bank account can be in your name or her name.
3. There is no other requirement for the dependent.

you need to provide:
- Filled application Form
- Your passport and Visa copy.
- Latest CAR
- Her passport / Photos
- Proof of relation such as Marriage Certificate, Chats emails or pics.
- Bank Statement showing £945 for 90days.
- TB Test report
- Application form
- You can write a covering letter explaining your situation.
