No they have clearly given the names of Recognised Suprevisory Bodies, and i am an IFA accountant. Your accounts must be prepared by members of RSB for accounts submission to UKBA.

There seems to be a discrepancy in UKBA guidance for Tier 1 (Ent) regarding IFA
I have spoken to Mr David Woodgate (CEO) of IFA and have met him atleast 3 times. He states that IFA was given full charter for Visa applications in 2011 and as per his opinion this is only a discrepancy that they have not mentioned IFA's name in Tier 1(Ent) guidance. He also expedited this matter with UKBA but due to bureaucracy it might take alot of time.

This point is hurting a lot of IFA Accountants and needed to be dealt with ASAP.

No IFA is neither a Chartered body nor it is within the definition of the HO guidance.

The RSBs in the UK are five bodies, namely;

ICAEW
ICAI
ICAS
ACCA
AAPA

CIMA has been taken off from the list but HO may accept the accounts [stats] prepared by a CIMA member.

The 5 bodies that you have mentioned are supervisory bodies for Audit purposes only.

All the recognized bodies are members of IFAC
