Can I add a British Citizen to my business?

Can I add a British Citizen to my business?

Hello,

I am actually looking for more investment into my business and thus I have a friend of mine who has money and would like to invest in my business. He is british citizen so I am not sure what should be done? Will there be a problem in my visa extension if I add him as a 49% partner into my business? I am on Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa (PSW Route).
