Post by Azzaan » Tue Jul 28, 2015 11:40 pm

Hi everyone , can anyone clarify if a person enter in this country on student visa in August 2005 and the validity of the visa was 31 dec 2008. That person left UK on March 2008 for a marriage and apply for spouse visa outside of the UK in June 2005 the application was refused due to some missing document however they submitted the new spouse application a weeks after the refusal that application was successful and person arrived In UK on July 2008. My question is if that person apply for long residency for 10 years bases or not thx

Did you mean June 2008 instead of June 2005?

You should be okay if you returned to the UK within six months per single absence and had total absences of less than 18 months, etc.
