Postponing a Tier 5 VISA

Hi, really hoping someone can help me.

My girlfriend is due to come over the the UK on a Tier 5 Youth Mobility VISA from New Zealand and due to ill health, won't be able to come over for another 6 months.

Is it possible to:

1) Postpone the VISA due to medical grounds (i.e. starting on the 23rd Feb rather than 23rd August?)
2) Cancel and reapply in January?

Crazy that haven't been able to find any information on any of the UK gov sites!!!

Just reaaply when she is ready(provided she has never entered on the previous one), the new visa will supercede the old one. No need to cancel it.

How did you go with this?

Did your GF already have approval? i am curious if she just transfered her vignette date?
