Cooling off period

HI Machi ,
I was holding ICT tier 2 short term migrant visa of period 24-JAN-2014 to 23-JAN-2015
I left UK on 02-nov-2014
In this case what date would be considered as my cooling period completion date (2-NOV-2015 UK leaving date+ 12 months or actual visa expire date + 12 months i.e 23-JAN-2016)??

02-Nov-15, if you can provide documentary evidences to Home Office that you exited UK and did not enter again.
Else, 23-Jan-16.
