Panicking - Please help! - Tier 4 Visa - Priority Service

Hello all, I have a question please. I had applied last Thursday (30 July 2015) for a Tier (Government Sponsored) student visa to the UK and purchased the Priority service. I live in Lebanon (and applied from Lebanon) but I need to travel to Egypt on the night of 18 August for a Chevening pre-departure meeting and I am wondering, from your experience: would my visa be done by then? I am panicking since if I miss the event, my scholarship would be revoked.

Well you should ask your visa application centre about that. In Egypt they claim that you get your decision within 5 days after your interview, however in my case it took couple more days to get my decision using priority service, so again you need to check with your visa application centre
