Irish forigen birth registration

Post by Cookiemonster-za » Mon Aug 24, 2015 7:33 pm

Hi all

I'm busy collecting all the needed documents to register on the Irish forigen birth register. Unfortunately when I received my unabridged birth certificate my fathers details weren't on It as he and my mom weren't married at the time of my birth. It is blank where details of father should be. Is the birth certificate the only way of proving paternity for the births register or will INIS accept other proof of paternity, e.g. DNA testing showing my link to my father?
