Chances of getting visa, please advise

Post by watashimo12 » Fri Aug 14, 2015 6:57 pm

hi all,
i applied for a Tier 2 (general) visa from bangladesh in September 2014 along with my wife and 2 year old daughter as my dependents. the ukvi took 7 months to process our application and then refused to give visa saying the employment was not genuine. they visited the site and were not satisfied on how the records were kept. they have subsequently revoked the employers tier 2 license as well. in reality, the employer actually had lost interest in me while waiting for me for 6 months and had deliberately stopped keeping the paperworks necessary to show the home office inspectors which lead them to believe that the site was not compliant with the policies.

now, my wife has got an admission in a master's program in one of the top universities in UK. the program is best in the UK and 3rd best in the world ranking. basically its a research university specialising in health sciences. our family is paying the tuition fees and maintenance since i no longer have the proposed job from last year.

this time my wife will be applying as student and me and our daughter as her dependants. i am just worried, if our previous application will make the process any difficult or not.

key facts:
1. my wife has got tremendous academic records
2. she has got a very good IELTS score
3. she has the needed funds in her personal bank account
4. got an unconditional offer letter and CAS from the best masters program provided by the best institution for that particular course

please advise if there is anything we have keep in mind and have to be careful about when submitting the application and any thoughts you may have in this regard.
kindest regards.

Hi

Hopefully it will not make any problems but I would suggest you to apply separately I mean let your wife apply for the visa first and then once she got her visa you better apply for her dependants because the UKVI may doubt you that you and your family trying to move UK because they can see your past application from their system and they will notice your wife intention is to study or to bring her family here and settle you know nowadays they deliberately refusing visa, reason they are not satisfied with the intension so let her apply first and they should give her visa if she has valid CAS letter, required IELTS score and sufficient funds.
Best of luck :D
Stay blessed
